First “made in Portugal” Consortium.

ERASMUSCENTRO

The ERASMUSCENTRO is the first “made in Portugal” consortium that, geographically, covers the center of Portugal.

The ERASMUSCENTRO consortium provides professional traineeships in European countries to around 46 000 students that are part of eight Polytechnics: Coimbra, Castelo Branco, Guarda, Leiria, Portalegre, Santarém, Viseu e Tomar.

From the coast to the Spanish border, ERASMUSCENTRO is a wide network with a regional nature connecting these Polytechnics, the Business Council of the Centre (CEC/CCIC) which integrates 41 business associative structures (representing about 40 000 enterprises), the main region town halls, business associations, enterprises and relevant entities belonging to the consortium influence area.

The consortium also generates, through 67 associated business entities, an Erasmus traineeships offer to the students coming from European countries that intend to accomplish this sort of mobility in Portugal.
