During the visit to the Municipality of Vila Franca de Xira, between 30 March and 4 April, students and teachers from five countries were warmly welcomed at the Town Hall by the Mayor, Fernando Paulo Ferreira. The “YOUNG PEOPLE MATTER” project The Bom Sucesso School Group is part of the project called “YOUNG PEOPLE MATTER”, coordinated by the National College of Iasi, in Romania. This project, developed in collaboration with institutions from Serbia, North Macedonia and Spain, aims to develop the values of European citizenship in young people aged between 11 and 15 through academic debates in the format of a Public Forum. These discussions address contemporary issues, including social inclusion, human rights and democracy. One of the main activities was the presentation of projects at the Bom Sucesso Cultural Center. In addition, the participants took part in the workshop called “Be a minister for a day”, followed by a Fado Night at the Sobralinho Palace.
