Tunisian teachers visit the Higher School of Technology through the Erasmus programme

Academic mobility is one of the main features of the Erasmus+ program, which aims to encourage cultural and educational exchange between different institutions. In a significant milestone in this effort, the Castelo Branco School of Technology had the pleasure of welcoming Tunisian professors. This visit marked not only a learning experience, but also the consolidation of ties between universities from different parts of the world.

Reception of Tunisian Professors at the School of Technology The visit of professors Ines Ben Tarbout and Fethi Taieb, from the Institut Supérieur des Études Technologiques de Radès (ISET Radès), symbolizes an important stage in strengthening international relations in the context of Higher Education. The School of Technology has stood out for its proactive approach in establishing Cooperation Agreements with several institutions around the world, favoring the presence of foreign professors and students. The meeting was mediated by Rogério Dionísio, professor responsible for international mobility, who made a point of presenting the infrastructure and projects that EST has developed. The Tunisian faculty members were warmly welcomed, and the interaction with other faculty members, such as Paula Pereira and Filipe Fidalgo, contributed to an environment of fruitful exchange of ideas and experiences. Ines Ben Tarbout, a specialist in Computer Engineering, lectured on databases and information management. Fethi Taieb, from the Department of Electrical Engineering, led practical sessions on electronic systems.

This interaction is more than just an academic exchange; it provides students with diverse perspectives and models of different teaching methodologies, thus fostering an atmosphere of
